Welcome to the information page for the PowerGen National Schools’ Art Competition 2025 in collaboration with the Ministry of Education.

Theme: “I See Beauty in the Colours of Life!”

• The competition is open to all Primary, Secondary, and Special (Public and Private) Schools in Trinidad and Tobago.

• Entries are limited to one per school for Primary and Special Schools, and one per school per category in the Junior category (Forms 1–3) and Senior Secondary category (Forms 4–6).

• Art pieces submitted must be two-dimensional in nature to facilitate placement on the wall.

• The size of the artwork submitted should not be smaller than 8½” × 11”.

• Artwork of the selected finalists will become the property of PowerGen; all other submissions will be returned to the entrants.

• Honesty and integrity are expected of all participants. (This means students are expected to complete the artwork themselves.) Failure to comply will result in automatic disqualification.

• There will be four categories of judging: Primary, Secondary (Junior and Senior), and Special Schools.

• The judges’ decision is final.
